Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

Do not pay someone to do your taxes
when you can get them done for FREE!

If your 2016 income was less than $54,000, The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program can help!

In Arizona millions of Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) dollars go uncollected by eligible families. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. An added benefit – When returns are filed electronically, taxpayers receive their refunds faster.
